Chapter   Sixteen

The Boys went down to the girls' floor about fifteen minutes later, to get them and head down to the hotel resturaunt. They all walked to into the resturaunt and ran into their managers, Johnny and Donna Wright, and AJ's mom, Denise McLean. The Boys tried to sneak back out with VJ, BJ, and Alisha, but the adults spotted them and called them over.

"Okay, fellas, we have two questions," Donna said.

"Actually, three questions," Denise said.

"The first one is, who are the girls?" Johnny asked.

"Then second one is, what are they doing here?" Donna asked.

"And the third one is, Brian, AJ, and Nick, where were you three last night?" Denise asked. "I called your rooms and there was no answer."

The Boys looked at each other, not knowing what to say. Denise looked at Brian and VJ, AJ and BJ, and Nick and Alisha holding hands, then drew her own conclusions.

"Please tell me what I'm thinking isn't right or you are all in major trouble," she said.

"Johnny, Donna, Denise, this is Victoria Johnson, my girlfriend," Brian said.

"This is Alisha Walker, Victoria's cousin, and my girlfriend," Nick said.

"And this is Brianna Jackson, my girlfriend," AJ said.

"The reason they're here is, um...." Kevin looked at the other guys for help.

"They're here 'cause we thought it was about time you met them and knew they existed," Brian said.

"And to answer the third question, Mom, no we didn't do anything with these girls," AJ told her. "We just stayed the night in their hotelroom."

"YOU DID WHAT!?!" they all yelled out. People from surrounding tables gave them strange looks.

"All of you sit down right now," Donna said. "We have a world of things to discuss with you."

All of them sat down and Johnny, Donna, and Denise gave the eight of them the lecture of their lives on relationships at this point in their career, what they could and couldn't do, the whole nine yards. By the time they finished eating and left, they were all in a big daze.

"Oh, man, that was scary," Brian said. "That was the first time we ever got that lecture. Well, at least, me and Nick."

After everyone left the resturaunt, they all went their separate ways. Brian and VJ to a nearby park; AJ and BJ went sight-seeing; and Nick and Alisha to the nearest arcade.

"Yeah, BJ told me you guys mentioned a girl named Marisa," VJ told him. "Who was she?"

"Marisa and AJ got together about a year before we got signed to Jive," he started. "They were together for two years before they broke up. Marisa couldn't handle AJ being away all the time, so she broke up with him. He was really down for a long time, then he met BJ and all was right with the world again."

"It's nice to know you meeting me helped him, but are you sure he's not just rebounding? 'Cause if he's just, you know, using her, I will personally kick his ass. And believe me, I could. I didn't grow up with three older brothers for nothing."

"Calm down, VJ. He was almost completely over her when he met BJ. I really don't think you or BJ have anything to worry. No ass-kicking will be needed."

"Good. But I think you better warn him."

"Sure thing." Brian and VJ looked at each other and started laughing.

"So I'm your girlfriend now?" VJ asked, looking at him.

"I was kinda hoping you wanted to be," Brian said. "Do you?"

"I thought you'd never ask," VJ told him. "I'd love to."

VJ put her arms around Brian's neck and he put his arms around her waist. Brian leaned down and kissed VJ, while passers-by watched in fascination.

AJ and BJ where walking through the city, holding hands.

"So why aren't you driving me?" BJ said, half-joking.

"Truthfully, I failed the written test and I haven't had the time to take it again since my career took off," AJ said.

"Oh. Then I guess I should've mentioned that I have my license."

"And we're walking around everywhere?"

"Well, I rather like walking around. It gives us more time to appreciate all the places we see and we have more time by ourselves."

"Which reminds me, I know I should've asked you before I told my mom we were a couple, but would you go out with me?"

"You didn't hear me complaining earlier."

"Should I take that as a 'yes'?"

AJ let out an excited yell and took BJ in her in his arms. BJ just laughed at his enthusiasm. But AJ soon silenced her with a passionate kiss.

"AWWWW!! There is no way that fight was fair!" Nick yelled out. Alisha had just beat him at Mortal Kombat.

"That's what you get for underestimating my video game expertise," Alisha laughed.

"Finally!! A girl who knows video games!"

Nick wrapped his arms around Alisha and kissed her. When they parted, Alisha spotted a photo booth. She grabbed Nick's hand and dragged him over to it.

"Come on, Nick. Let's take some pictures together," Alisha said, excitedly.

"Okay. Which little package should we get?" Nick asked.

"How about the 'Sweetheart Package'? We get two sets of pictures."

"Sounds good to me."

Nick got some bills out of his wallet and put them in the money slot. They got inside the booth and positioned themselves side by side. They took the first picture.

"You called me your girlfriend earlier today," Alisha said.

"Yeah, I know," Nick said. They positioned themselves a little differently and took the next picture.

"Well, I didn't know I was. You never asked."

"Will you go out with me?" Nick kissed Alisha on the left-side of her head. The camera flashed and they took a picture.

"I'm not sure. Convince me."

Nick turned Alisha's face towards him and kissed her and caught the moment on film. When the kiss ended, they looked in each others eyes and smiled.

"You've convinced me," Alisha said, softly.

Nick and Alisha started laughing. The camera flashed and took a picture, capturing a moment neither wanted to forget.

"Oh my god! That's Brian Littrell!!" a teenage girl shouted.

"Where?! Where?!" her friend asked, frantically looking around.

"Over there!" the girl said, pointing in his direction.

"Whose that with him?"

"I don't know."

Then they saw Brian lean down and kiss the "mystery" girl.

"Oh my god!" the two girls said simultaneously.

"Take a picture! Take a picture!"

Both of the girls took as many pictures as they could. They both took a few pictures of the couple walking away, both of Brian's arms around the girls waist. Then, they both ran back in the direction they had come, going home to tell everyone what they had just witnessed.

"Doesn't that guy look like AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys?" a girl asked her friend.

"Yeah, I think it is. Should we go ask for his autograph?"

At that moment, AJ kissed the girl they saw him with. One of the girls grabbed her camera and took four pictures. They took a few more pictures as they walked away, arms around each other.

"Did I just see what I think I saw?" she asked, lowering her camera.

"I didn't know AJ had a girlfriend."

"I don't think anybody did. How about we spread the news."

They then went home to post up the news on their webpage.

"Nick Carter is right over there," a girl told her friend.

"But who is that with him?"

"I don't know. I've never seen her before."

"Well, he obviously knows her. Look."

They saw Nick and the girl get the pictures they had just taken. They watched as Nick and the girl looked at the pictures and laughed. Then they got the shock of their lives when they saw Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys kiss the girl.

"Hurry, take a picture!"

So the girl with the camera took two pictures seconds before Nick and this "mystery" girl parted. They took more picture as Nick and the girl put their arms around each other and headed out of the arcade.

"We have to get these pictures developed as soon as possible."

The two girls walked out of the arcade as fast as they could without attracting too much attention.
