Chapter   Twenty-One

VJ walked into her room, feeling like her legs were going to give out at any second. Then she saw all the flowers in her room and her mouth dropped open in shock.

"Oh my gosh!" she yelled out. "Where did all of these come from?"

VJ walked around her room and finally came to a vase full of flowers that had a card tucked into it. She took the card and read it, 'Dear Angel, I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me. I hope I see you soon. Brian." VJ teared up as she looked at the flowers around her room. Then a thought occured to her. 'How'd did he get these in here?'

Brian was watching from the reflection in the mirror. Brian saw VJ standing there with tears in her eyes, then a look of wonder. 'I guess going out now is as good a time as any,' he thought. He saw VJ had turned back around and now had her back to him. He quietly walked out.

"I'm glad I didn't have to wait long," he said.

VJ turned around and Brian watched her long hair flow around her. He thought it was the most beautiful sight. Then VJ let out an excited yell and threw herself into Brian's arms, holding onto him tight.

"When did you get back?" she asked. "And how did you get into my apartment?"

"I take it you're glad to see me," Brian laughed as he wrapped his arms around VJ.

"Of course I am," VJ said, leaning back and looking him in the eye. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you, too, Angel. And to answer your questions, I got back early this morning and your brothers let me in."

"My brothers actually helped you? Wow. That's a first."

"Well, I think your sister-in-law kind of forced them to."

"That sounds more like them. They don't trust any guy when it comes to their little sister."

"Well, I think I made a good impression. So, how do you like the flowers?"

"They're beautiful, Brian. Thank you. But you didn't have to buy so many. This must have cost you a fortune." VJ looked around her room again.

"You're worth it."

"Thank you so much. Is there any way I can repay you?" VJ smiled at him seductively.

"I'll figure out something," Brian said, leaning down to kiss her. "How about we explore our options."

VJ kissed Brian with all the passion and desire she had for him. Brian kissed her back with just as much passion. They both lay down on the bed and "explored" their options.

Alisha heard VJ yell out and almost went to VJ's room instead of her own. Then she opened the door and saw so many flowers in her room.

"Oh wow," was all Alisha could say. She saw a card on her bed and walked over to read it. 'Dear Ali, turn around.' Alisha turned around and saw Nick standing there with a bouquet of roses.

"Happy to see me?" he asked her.

"More like shocked, but still very happy," she answered.

Nick held open his arms and Alisha ran to him. They held onto each other so tight, both of them could barely breath, but they didn't care. Just as long as they were together. Finally, Alisha pulled back and looked up at Nick.

"When did you get back? How did you get in here? All these flowers must have set you back for weeks!"

"I got back early in the morning, your cousins let me in and you deserve to get flowers every day. If you count all the vases, you'll find it's the exact same number of days I've known you."

"That is so sweet of you. They're beautiful." Alisha threw her arms around him again.

Nick hugged her back as tight as he could. He was so glad to finally be home and with Alisha. He missed her so much. He never thought he could miss any girl this much, but it was different with Alisha. He knew she really liked him for who he was and that's what he'd been looking for.

"I missed you so much, Nick," Alisha whispered in his ear.

"I missed you, too, Ali," Nick whispered back. "Let's make for some lost time."

Before Alisha could say anything, Nick kissed her. Alisha kissed him back. They both felt the electricity between them. It was like they'd been apart for years instead of one month. By the time they broke apart, they were both breathless.

"How long are you staying?" Alisha asked.

"A week and a half. Seven days of relaxation and three day for a video shoot."

"For 'Get Down'? Cool." Alisha got quiet for a second. "What do you want to do now?"

"Let's go see how Brian and VJ are doing?" Nick said, mischieviously.

"So that's why VJ screamed. Alright, let's go."

They both headed out the door, hand in hand.

"Man, that was the most grueling shopping spree I've ever been on," BJ muttered to herself as she walked into her apartment. "I didn't think I'd ever get home."

BJ put her shopping bags on her table and saw roses in various places they hadn't been before she left. 'How did these get here?' she thought.

She walked over to her living room, where she found more roses. 'This is getting weird.' BJ walked into her room and stopped dead in her tracks. There were flowers everywhere in her room. Every available space was now occupied by flowers. BJ saw one of the bouquets held a note. 'Dear BJ, I missed you so much. I couldn't stay away any longer. AJ.'

" 'Dear BJ'," AJ said from behind her. " 'I missed you so much. I couldn't stay away any longer'."

"How did you get here?" BJ asked when she turned around.

"By plane. I arrived early this morning."

BJ stood there for a minute, wondering if this was really happening. She blinked numerous time, waiting for this vision of AJ to be gone. But he didn't disappear. Then BJ walked over and stood in front of him. She slowly put her arms around his neck as he put his arms around her waist. Without a word, AJ leaned down and kissed BJ with every ounce of feeling he had for her. Finally they were together again after being separated for a month.

"I missed you, too," BJ said when they broke apart. "I missed you every day you were gone."

"That's very good to hear," AJ laughed. BJ laughed with him.

"How long are you here for?"

"A week and a half. We came back to shoot a video for the new single. And to get some rest from the tour."

"Well, whatever the reason, I'm so happy you're back and with me again."

"You're not the only one."

Once again, they kissed for what seemed like forever. They could just feel the sparks begin to fly, fast and furiously. They hoped it would never end.
